From IBM regarding the cancellation of IoT Exchange 2020:

IoT Exchange is one of our opportunities to connect with our clients, partners, and employees to demonstrate how connected assets will transform business operations, now and in the future. It is our opportunity to share how clients have realized the power of AI and IoT data, infused it into their operations to gain essential insights and demonstrate how our solutions are evolving to support today’s rapidly changing business models.

We have been closely watching the progression of COVID-19 and have made the decision to cancel the face-to-face version of IoT Exchange 2020 and to re-create IBM Think as a global, digital-first event. We are innovating new ways to share the IoT Exchange content with conference attendees. Stay tuned for updates on how you can drive transformation for your organization with IBM and our ecosystem of Business Partners.

ClearObject supports IBM’s decision to cancel the IoT Exchange 2020 event in Orlando and will continue working with our own IBM representatives to determine a next step. The revised IBM Think global digital event is just one option we will consider.

Our aim is to still share the success stories of three ClearObject customers who are now using IBM’s Enterprise Lifecycle Management tools in the cloud. Each company was set to discuss their story in these Engineering Academy conference track sessions at IoT Exchange.

  • Kaiser Permanente: Using IBM ELM tools in the cloud to enhance the ability to work and collaborate
  • Panasonic: How Panasonic Automotive uses IBM ELM tools in the cloud
  • CVS Health: How CVS Health uses IBM ELM tools in the cloud to enhance their ability to work and collaborate

Meantime, we’ll bring the IBM learning to you…

For engineering teams using IBM DOORS or DOORS Next (or RQA) and Watson AI, ClearObject just published its new white paper for requirements management best practices in the IBM ELM environment. The paper comes from two of ClearObject’s resident experts in ELM and the DOORS toolset, it’s free, and it offers some effective tips to improve requirements management.

We urge you to download the white paper and put it to use.
