From Google regarding Google Cloud Next ’20: Digital Connect, April 6-8, Livestream.

The health and wellbeing of Google Cloud customers, partners, employees and the overall community is our top priority. Due to the growing concern around the coronavirus (COVID-19), and in alignment with the best practices laid out by the CDC, WHO and other relevant entities, Google Cloud has decided to reimagine Google Cloud Next ’20, which will still take place from April 6-8.

We are transforming the event into Google Cloud Next ’20: Digital Connect, a free, global, digital-first, multi-day event connecting our attendees to Next ’20 content and each other through streamed keynotes, breakout sessions, interactive learning and digital “ask an expert” sessions with Google teams.

Innovation is in Google’s DNA and we are leveraging this strength to bring you an immersive and inspiring event this year without the risk of travel.

As we work through the details of this new digital experience over the coming weeks, we will continue to share updates here, along with more details in our FAQ. For already registered attendees, learn more.

ClearObject is following Google’s lead to “work through the details” of Google Cloud Next ’20: Digital Connect. This includes making every effort to still present our Breakout Session AI201 as planned.

BREAKOUT Session AI201 – Using CRM Service Logs to Gain New Insights, with NLP on Google Cloud

This session is on Next’s AI & ML track and puts ClearObject front and center, along with ClearObject customer, Roche Diagnostics. Derek Bleyle of ClearObject and Joseph Streif of Roche will lead the session. Derek (pictured here) is Product Manager, IoT and Data Analytics at ClearObject, and Joseph is Lead MD for Roche’s Regional Systems Support operations.

They’ll discuss Roche’s project to improve field service and preventive maintenance for their lineup of diagnostics equipment using historic maintenance data. Google Cloud, Cloud SQL, and Google Kubernetes Engine were critical components of the solution that ClearObject developed, as was capturing and training an AI dataset. Equally critical was the use of natural language processing (NLP) to capture historic data from thousands of CRM service records, parts records, field technician notes, and general CRM details. Overall, the Roche solution story is compelling stuff.

Hopefully you’re planning to attend the “new” Google Cloud Next ’20: Digital Connect and still take in the Breakout Session experiences, including ours.

If you aren’t, contact us. We’ll set up a personalized solution session for you.
