Indiana IoT Labs: Connecting You to the Future
ClearObject was honored to be a part of the Indiana IoT Lab’s announcement today, finally unveiling to the state where the future of IoT will be created. Here are a few key areas the Indiana IoT Lab will influence in the coming years:
- Evolving Indiana’s core business
Mayor Scott Fadness of Fishers, the host city for the first Indiana IoT Lab, defines the core competencies of the state of Indiana as “making things, growing things and moving things”. Rather than abandon our areas of expertise in the face of a more technical world and economy, IoT allows us to enhance and evolve each of these sectors, securing their place in a new age.
- Bringing new companies to our state
The Indianapolis area has already started to gain national recognition as the home of many new and growing tech companies. The creation of a network of Indiana IoT Labs will not only solidify our area as a tech hub, but provide incentives for more companies to relocate to the Midwest as we aggregate resources and work spaces for them.
- Connecting existing companies
While the new companies moving to our area are exciting, there are a plethora of existing companies that complement one another when it comes to IoT. A large part of the Indiana IoT Lab mission is to connect potential partners, creating a coalition of willing participants working together to create unique customer solutions.
- Defining the potential of IoT on a global scale
The participants in the Indiana IoT Lab have a global reach, and/or serve as industry leaders. As they reap the benefits of the Indiana IoT Lab and evolve their business, that impact will be felt on a global scale. The Indiana IoT Lab can define the future of IoT, connecting all industries and thought leaders together to spearhead global innovation.
We are excited to participate in this new journey with our partners. You can learn more about the Indiana IoT Labs here, and follow us on social media for updates!
